1. OutlineThese specifications describe the energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometer using a fluorescence X-ray analytical technique. This system has the following features.
(1)Screening software automatically selects the optimal analytical condition.
The Pass/Fail judgment automatically displays at simple procedures.

(2)A large sample chamber with manual can accommodate sample up to 370 mm Wide x 320mm Depth x 150 mm Height.
(3)Compact desktop main unit. The depth is as small as 650mm, and no particular place is needed for its installation.
(4) To prevent damage X ray tube, the Ageing function works automatically if the spectrometer has not been used in certain period.
(5)The spectrometer uses the peltier cooled type semiconductor detector to reduce running cost greatly.
(6)Condition protection function prevents data or setting parameters from unnecessary being deleted or changed.
2.Configuration
This system comprises the following five units.
(1) X-ray generator unit
This unit generates primary X-ray to excite atoms in a sample. It consists of the X-ray tube, X-ray power supply and primary X-ray filter.
(2) Detector unit
This unit consists of the Semiconductor detector, the detector high voltage power supply , pre- amplifier, etc.
(3) Counting unit and control unit
The counting unit consists of the MCA (Multi-Channel Analyzer). The control unit with the internal computer performs the multitask control of the overall system.
(4) Sample chamber unit
The unit consists of a large sample chamber with manual opening and closing. The opening and closing can work smoothly by using sample chamber gas spring.
(5) EDX Workstation
This workstation performs all main unit operations, and qualitative and quantitative analyses.
